A payment has been rejected, why might this be?

If a payment shows as “rejected”, this could be for multiple reasons. These include:

  • Your customer cancelled the payment within their banking app, before authorising it

  • Lack of funds in their account

  • The daily payment limit has been hit - the payment limits vary from bank to bank
